Chateau Le Chabrier Bergerac Gros Caillou 2010

Chateau Le Chabrier Bergerac Gros Caillou is a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. This fabulous red is obtained through low yield and very ripe grapes that are harvested as late as possible.  Long ageing of at least 20 months in oak barrels, refines the structure of this excellent wine. The vintage ‘Gros Caillou’ or ‘aged in oak’ spends 20 months in oak barrels, giving it complex aromas of fine vanilla and fruits. It is very well balanced, with soft tannins that have a long finish.  This wine ages well and you can keep it for a few years, if your willpower is strong enough.
