Chateau Les Pierreres Blaye 2012 has spent 15 months in oak barrels. The nose has rich and warm notes of plum and black cherries. In the mouth it is full and rich, with blackcurrant, toasted notes, subtle coffee flavours and soft smooth tannins A really great wine from the Chateau Haut Canteloup family, that can be enjoyed with all red meats and cheeses.
90% merlot, 10% malbec
Château Martinat is a small family estate, and their Côtes De Bourg 2012 is created from 40 year old vines, spending 14 months in oak barrels. It has a beautiful dark and deep colour, with floral aromas of liquorice, toasted red and black fruits, and a subtle hint of oak. In the mouth it has an opulent texture, with ripe and silky tannins, woody notes which subtly blend into an elegant and powerful wine, with a slightly spicy finish. Perfect with red meat, game and cheese. Decant an hour before drinking and keep for up to 10 years.
60% merlot, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 20% malbec
AOC Cotes de Bourg
Domaine Cazulet Rouge 2014 is a blend of cabernet sauvignon and malbec, which brings freshness and tannic structure. Slightly peppery on the nose, with the merlot making it fruity and velvety. It is slightly mineral which is due to the clay limestone present in the ground (their vines sit on an area known as 'the rock'). It is fresh, fruity, medium bodied with great structure, and it's organic. All in all a well rounded and balanced elegant wine.THIS WINE WILL BE BACK IN STOCK SPRING 2017

100% Malbec 2016, Domaine Des Soulie.
Bright ruby red in colour. A simple nose, with aromas of spices, plum and a smokey point. This Malbec has has soft tannins and good acidity and in our opinion is excellent value.
