Domaine des Lauribert has been producing its own wines, under the guidance of Laurent Sourdon and his team, since leaving the cooperative system in 1997. The Côtes Du Rhône Tradition 2014 has a superb nose, with forward notes of black currant, redcurrants very slight raspberry. Vibrant ruby red colour. On the palate there is good light fruity balance of red berries and raspberry, and tiny bit of liquorice coming through at the end. Beautiful soft tannins. Slips down very nicely, and is a nice alternative to a beaujolais. A lovely light-medium red that won't disappoint. A fantastic Côtes Du Rhône that can be enjoyed by itself or great with lighter meals.

15 year old vines Fermented in oak barrels An expressive nose of fresh black cherries and slightly cocoa. Very soft and fruity, with those cherries bursting through with a deliciously sweet sprinkling of vanilla, peppered with a tiny bit of clove and liquorice. Fresh, soft light tannins and full in the mouth. Coates the tongue beautifully and has a medium to long finish. Another superb quality wine from Rémy, and amazing value for such a jewel.

Domaine La Fourmone Gigondas Fauquet 2012 Magnum bottle, is a very pure and elegant wine, combining fruity aromatic richness with beautiful structure. Dark fruit, raspberry and pomegranate aromas. In the mouth it is supple and round with a long finish. Flavours of cooked black fruits, clove like spice and pink pepper make it a completely divine wine, with great structure due to the smooth subtle tannins.

Domaine La Fourmone Vacqueyras Le Poéte (the poet), is a delightful blend of red fruits designed to accompany any meal, thanks to the lightness of Syrah, which gives the elegant tannins. A beautiful ruby red colour. On the nose there is a mish mash of ripe berries - redcurrants, blueberries, black cherries, and a lovely spicy oaky aroma. In the mouth, bursts of cherry, with notes of chocolate, spice, and pepper. The medium tannins give this wine a good structure. A really delightful wine, that can be enjoyed with beef or lamb. If you want to enjoy it in its youth, decant for an hour before drinking. Can be kept for arounded 5-7 years.

Le Loup blanc Rosé is from the Languedoc region on the south coast of France, just a short drive from Narbonne. This area is known for its pale but flavoursome rosé wine. Our Le Loup blanc rosé is pale pink in colour, but doesn't pale when it comes to flavour. It is a dry wine but with fresh fruity flavours, minerality and very rounded. A wine that screams summer. Le Loup blanc is an organic vineyard.

IGP AUDE Val de Cesse
The name comes from Anthocyanins, natural pigments that range from red, purple and blue on black grapes. During vinification of red wine, grape maceration allows gentle extraction of these pigments that give the wine lustre (they are a good anti-ageing antioxidant too apparently)! Mas Des Caprices Anthocyane 2011 is made mainly from Mourvédre, and blended with carignan and grenache. This wine is a beautiful dark purple colour, with a bouquet of black fruits (black cherry, damson), and pepper. Don't underestimate this wine, it has been aged beautifully (16 months in oak barrels), and has some punch, with lush dark fruit and spicy, peppery flavours. Best drank with food, something like a hearty meat stew, duck or a good steak. Big, bold and beautiful.
45% mourvedre, 30% carignan, 25% grenache
Mas Des Caprices Oufti 2012, (an anagram of Fitou), is a blend of mainly Mourvédre with Carignan and Grenache. A gorgeous dark purple in colour, which on the nose has a tough warm scent with aromas of ripe cherries and soft sweet dark fruits. On the palate there are deep rich notes of black ripe fruits, (black cherry, damson), it is peppery and slightly spicy, all rounded off with a hint of oak. The tannins are very soft and well balanced. All in all a tremendous wine which can be drank as an aperitif, or would marry well with any beef dish.

Mas Des Caprices R.A.S 2016. The lightest red wine from the brilliant Biodynamic vineyard Mas Des Caprices. Mirielle and Pierre Mann really have a great craft, their R.A.S (Rouge A Siroter) is IGP (Vin de Pays de L’Aude), made from young vines of Carignan, Grenache and Mourvèdre, vinification “millefeuille” by short maceration of 10 days and aged in concrete tanks. It is a nice and light fruity wine, perfect as an aperitif or with charcuterie, and grilled meats.

Mas Des Caprices Retour Aux Sources 2013 is a beautiful natural wine. A blend of Carignan, syrah and grenache noir, with a gorgeous garnet colour, and an intense nose of fresh ripe dark fruits (black cherries), and peppery earthy tones. A very pleasant structure on the palate, very soft and fruity, with black cherry and blackberries, mildly spicy with fine sweet tannins. A beautiful lingering finish. Absolutely delicious and popular with some of our London restaurant customers! Great as an aperitif, or with grilled or barbecued red meats and goes well with medium spicy food.
