Domaine La Fourmone Vacqueyras Le Poéte (the poet), is a delightful blend of red fruits designed to accompany any meal, thanks to the lightness of Syrah, which gives the elegant tannins. A beautiful ruby red colour.  On the nose there is a mish mash of ripe berries – redcurrants, blueberries, black cherries, and a lovely spicy oaky aroma. In the mouth, bursts of cherry, with notes of chocolate, spice, and pepper.  The medium tannins give this wine a good structure. A really delightful wine, that can be enjoyed with beef or lamb.  If you want to enjoy it in its youth, decant for an hour before drinking.  Can be kept for arounded 5-7 years.
